The Forgotten City, an amibitous mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is now available. This fan-made modification, which actually looks more like a full-fledged expansion pack, introduces a new story, items, enemies and more. Dovahkiin has to investigate a mystery of atrocious murders. In order to do this, the hero goes back in time and visits an ancient underground city. While playing you get to learn the dark story through exploration, interrogating suspects, fighting enemies, and time travels. The Forgotten City provides 6-8 hours of gameplay.

To give an impression of the scale of works put in the modification, note that The Forgotten City features an original orchestral soundtrack, new detailed location, non-linear story with tough moral choices and different endings, logic puzzles, and over 1200 lines of dialogue recorded by 18 voice actors. The Forgotten City is a quest mod for Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition set in the eponymous Forgotten City. Its questline is begun by the delivery of a letter by way of Courier at level 5 or independent discovery of the ruins. Once inside, you will solve a murder mystery to find your way back to the surface.
